  4. X-RAYS WRIST (RICKETS/ALBRIGHTS HEREDITARY OSTEODYSTROPHY)

LEVEL 2:

  1. PTH LEVEL (RANGE 12-72 ng/ml) (HIGH PHOSPHATE AND NORMAL RENAL FUNCTIONS)
  2. MAGNESIUM LEVEL ( NORMAL OR LOW PHOSPHATE LEVELS)
  3. MALABSORPTION STUDIES (FECAL FATS, TTG ETC)
  4. 1, 25 HYDROXY D3 (LOW IN VDDR 1, HIGH IN VDDR II)
  5. IN NEONATES, MOTHER X-RAYS FOR OSTEOMALACIA AND HYPERPARATHYROIDISM.
